Mission

VISION
To promote teaching, learning, and service in leadership development between
partnered synods of the ELCA and dioceses of the ELCT through programs for
teachers, students, men and women in formal and informal education settings,
discovering what it means to walk in the light of God.

MISSION
To enable all participants to grow in knowledge of God's potential in their lives and in
their communities as they strengthen the educational systems through teaching
methods, knowledge, and skill development, thereby enlightening their global
awareness and responsibilities to all of creation.

PURPOSE
To empower teachers, students, men and women to become enlightened leaders
through programmatic outreach that responds to the prioritized needs determined in
Tanzania and is supported by teachers and congregations in the United States to
promote educational development through exchanges, materials, and mentorship.

GOALS
To initiate programmatic development for Christian leadership that can be sustained
between partners.

Secondary Schools under ELCT management
